First of all, I'm not a professional makeup artist or skincare specialist, nor am I affiliated with any cosmetics companies - I'm just a fellow makeup junkie! I review products from my own collection as honestly as possible, based on my experiences with them. So far everything I review I purchased or received as a gift. If I ever get to a point where I'm given samples to review, I'll indicate that in the post (fingers crossed, right?)
Over time I'll review new products as they come out, but most of the time I go back through my collection as the mood strikes me, so some things I review and talk about I've had for awhile, while others are brand spankin' new! Perhaps I'll revive interest in some old favourites while sharing info on new stuff at the same time!
This blog is all about products and tips. I may give ideas and share tutorials I find helpful or inspiring from makeup gurus on YouTube, but I don't do tutorials myself. This is partly because there are so many wonderful makeup gurus and professional makeup artists sharing their incredible know-how already, but mostly because I'm camera-shy!
Photos are taken, as much as possible, in natural light, so that the colours you see are as close as possible to how they really look. I take most of the product photos myself, so don't judge too harshly - I'm learning as I go! If I do use a photo from another source I will link the image to its source so that you can find the photographer. I find these images using Google searches, so if you ever see one of your photos on my blog and want it removed, just send me a message or leave a comment and I will take it down immediately with apologies!
I started this blog because I love makeup and have a lot of fun playing with it, and I hope to share some of my enthusiasm and tips. I welcome feedback, questions and comments!
Most of the images and content are original, so please don't reproduce either without obtaining permission first!

**Note: As of summer 2012, I moved to a new house. Great news for me, not-so-great news for my blog, since there is little to no direct light in the new house, and I don't have and can't afford a better lighting setup for photos. This is why I've been posting less, and most of my posts are using either product website images or images from other online sources. While I hate doing this, it's better than not blogging at all! I link all images back to their source, however if you see an image of yours on my blog that you want removed, please email me and let me know - and I'll take it down immediately with sincerest apologies!
